National Caucus of Native American State Legislators

Community meetings facilitated by local state legislators have been scheduled across Kauai and Oahu the week of July 7th, 2008.  These meetings are open to all community members and are part of a state-wide project sponsored by the National Conference of State Legislatures.

 

These meetings allow Hawaiian legislators and the National Conference of State Legislatures to hear directly from community members the impact Native Hawaiian programs and resources have had in their community. 

 

There will be three meetings in Kauai (Anahola, Lihue and Kekaha) and four meetings in Oahu (Nanakuli, Waianae, Papakolea and Waimanalo).
